whenever i am trying to change a scene (level1) in unity, the other scene(level2) also gets the same changes.

What changes you mean?
This is not possible, every scene are diferent instances, they are not “related”.
But, of course, all scenes uses the same resources (like prefabs, scripts, sprites, etc…) so if you change one, all scenes will have the new resource.

Thank you for the quick reply… actually i was trying to change the background in my game in level 1 so that level 1 and level 2 had different backgrounds. But whenever i try to do it in either level 1 or level 2 and save the scene they still both end up with the same background i just changed.
