How to properly connect a DualSense to Unity and recognize it's input?

How to properly connect a DualSense to Unity and recognize it’s input ?

  • I tried downloading the Input-System of the Package-Manager.
  • It’s also selected as a device and in C# (DualSenseGamepadHID.current != null)
    always gives true.
  • Apparently my controller is disconnecting every time I play, but am not sure

i recommend you to Install the soft “DS4” for the developpement so the controller is properly reconize as same as a xbox controller !

Have you considered using an asset like InControl or Rewired?
These are pretty solid assets with a wide variety of controller support.
