How to publish unity made game in Microsoft store and monetized that game?

Hello Experts,

I have developed a fully complete game for desktop computers. Now I am looking for a specific guideline on how I can publish it on Microsoft store and monetize it. I have searched for tutorials on youtube but unable to find any one that could be helpful.

I will be highly grateful if anyone can give me a solution of this situation.

  1. Build from Unity with the Windows Store build type
  2. Make sure it works
  3. Open a Windows Dev Center account (https://developer.microsoft.com/)
  4. Publish game, setting the required price.

i m not familiar with windows store, can i publish a desktop game only into the windows store without supporting windowsphone?

Yes. Plenty of games support only PC. But you must still target Windows Store target in Unity.

and the other way round is also true? building universal only for windowsphone?

Yup you can do that too. When you submit your game to the store, you get to select on which device kinds it’s allowed to run on.

i just submit my game, thanks you it was pretty straight forward, i d like to write the microsoft editorial team to feature my game, do they have an official email wich i could send to? i can t find any.

What about Monetization, What’s the best ad-network that works with windows platform ? For example on android and iOS Everybody knows that Admob is the best Ad-network. But unfortunately it doesn’t work with windows
