I want to recreate the same look of the game TABs but I can’t get it too look just right… does anyone have any advice as to making the lighting and style look similar… Thankyou
Primarily its just artistic choices. Smooth and simple textures, faceted polygons instead of smoothed normals. Good choice in lighting, fog, and ambient colors. Looks like they might have one main light source and either some good supporting ambient light or one or two other additional lights that help support the main light. Some AO to make things seems a little more grounded.
Most of the screenshots I can find look very dull and washed-out. I’m thinking you could get that look from tone-mapping but usually tone-mapping serves the opposite purpose of expanding the colorspace.
I’m sure you could use a LUT to get the same effect.
