I am wanting to make my game have it so when in the air at a large horizontal speed via slide jumping, it to remove how fast you go as long as you do not spend much time on the ground. I am asking here as when I try to search myself, I keep getting results on how to limit how fast you move in air. AI has been unable to help me.
You could do a system of applying drag on the ground, then removing it when you’re in the air.
You may have to bump up your speed a bit to compensate for the drag.
I don’t know if that’ll provide the exact effect you may want, but hopefully it at least gives you an idea of where to go from there.
AI is basically just a fast search engine thats going to search these forums and the internet for answers it doesn’t really know anything.
Yeah, I don’t rely on it much.
