I’m want to reply to a few of the job opportunities on the forum’s job sections, but…
Every post I visit, has no reply buttons, and at the bottom only mentions: (Please see the restrictions for replying to this post)
I’ve scanned the page carefully, but don’t see a way to reply to the postings. Any thoughts?
You cannot reply to threads in those sections. If you want to contact someone, send a Private Message or use one of the contact links provided in their post, if any.
We recently changed the permissions on the commercial so that no one could post replies to started threads, this was because there were many spam posts and excessive bumping.
Closing this was not a perfect solution, as many pointed out, there is a need to update work/position status, portfolio updates and legitimate bumps.
We’ve now implemented a feature that allows the Thread starter to reply to their own thread, this can only be done once every 72 hours. If you’ve made a mistake in your thread update, don’t worry, you can always edit it.
