How to return to menu from within the game

I have watched SEVERAL tuts on creating menus and loading scenes but once a scene is loaded all gui disappear… they don’t show how to return to the main menu from within a loaded scene.

How do I return to the main menu after I already entered a a loaded scene? Is there a way to have a small button in the corner of all scenes to load a menu or settings? Do I have to create this button for each scene or can one button be setup to overlay all scenes?

what you call “Main Menu” is just another scene like any other. So you have to follow the same proces to go back there as loading any other scene.
