I’m trying to adjust a walking animation with IK to match the ground. However I can’t seem to actually find the pose of the animation if the IK is enabled. With HumanoidIK I can get the position of the foot from the animation, and make decisions about how it should align to the ground with IK, but with animation rigging the only position I get when IK is enabled, is the IK solved position of the foot. I can’t see how I can use this system to modify an animation with IK, am I missing something?
I just realized there’s an Animation Rigging sub-forum, where these issues are discussed. I didn’t see it because it’s not part of the sub-forums on the front page, but a title-like link at the top of this forum. Would be nice if it was added to the front page, I should have posted there.
