How to show/call a prefab (e.g. fire prefab) when a UI Button is clicked?

Burning an object by calling or showing a fire prefab when clicking a UI Button.

You can call custom functions on the new Unity 5 UI elements by dragging an object with the script you want to use onto the “OnClick()” of the UI element. The script you want to use also has to be public to be seen.

So here is my object that has my public script:

Here is my adding that object to my UI element then selecting the script from the object that i want to call:

Then that script that is called could be like “start fire” or something. That “start fire” could just be a object in the screen or a prefab from one of your folders, you decide.
