How to submit game review to gamespot, ign, gametrailer, etc.?

Anyone experienced? how? i don’t think it need such a big company, so indiividual developer is accepted right? and does it charges any fee to submit review?

Submit a review? I gather is your game you are talking about.
As far as i know sites like that have they own writers so they do the review of the games. At least that’s what I’ve done in the past when I had a site like that. You should try to contact them directly and see if there is an interest to your game.
Regarding the fee, there should be none, unless you want to buy advertising on the site.

Oh, thanks. But i don’t think contacting them were that easy.

Contacting the game review websites is very easy, you can find their contact details right there on their web pages. However, I recommend that you pay a nominal amount of money, perhaps $50 or $100, to have a press release written and distributed for you. The press release agencies keep long-long-long lists of journalist’s contact details at all the publications and the journalists watch out for these press releases coming through. Press release is especially important if you English is not your primary language and you are inexperienced with approaching publications to have your games reviewed.

I can tell you that GameFAQs . com accepts user reviews. It’s a site that accepts game guides, user reviews, videos, images, game data, and more. I’m not sure how an independent game gets listed in their game database though, but submitting reviews is as easy as making an account and writing one.

I’m a faq writer for numerous games there as well under the name of Adenosine

Thanks, i’ll try to remind that.

I highly recommend Submitting your game to Game Reviews, a UK based console, mobile and PC game resource, they publish all of the latest games and apps, free of charge and without adverts and pop ups. I have to recommend as I work for them. http://www.game-reviews.org.uk - If you use the Submit a Game Button and mention “Zoe Recommend” I will personally review all of the game for you all.

When I released my game on iOS, my game my company got listed on Gamespot, IGN, metacritic a whole bunch of other websites. I guess that’s how they get some of their data from.

Any recommendations for services to do this?
