How To Submit Unity Game To Windows Phone Store

Hi All,

We have submitted our Unity game to Android Google Play Store, BlackBerry Store and iOS Apple Store.

Now we would like to submit our Unity game to Windows Phone Store. Currently our team is using Windows 7 operating system in our laptops.

It is possible for us to create Windows Phone game using Unity under Windows 7? Does Unity provide any emulator for us to test the Windows Phone game under Windows 7?

If possible, please guide us on how to build Windows Phone game using Unity under Windows 7 and submit to Windows Phone Store. Any opinion is welcomed.

We really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

No.

"IMPORTANT: Developing Windows Phone 8 apps requires you to be running Windows 8 on your development PC. If your PC is running Windows Vista or Windows 7, you should consider developing a Windows Phone 7 app.
PREREQUISITES: Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro with a 64-bit (x64) CPU, 6.5 GB of free hard disk space. 4 GB RAM. To use the Windows Phone 8 emulator your PC must have Windows 8 Pro or greater and a processor that supports Second Level Address Translation (SLAT)."

Also WP7 development is getting killed by MS starting by removal of device unlocking for development at 1.1.2015

You can’t do it with Windows 7. You could run something like VMWare and have Windows 8 running in a window in Windows 7 though.
