how to switch directions in scene view

Ok, i didn’t find it any where - but how can i switch the direction in the scene view by keyboard?

I want to quick edit some levels and i need to switch between the top view and the free view with a keyboard short cut. Is this possible? In the manual i couldn’t find it.

I could use a 4 Split layout with top, left front and free view. But i want a 2 Split layout with game view and top/free view.

Via the keyboard? No. Via the scene gizmo in the upper right corner? Yes, just click away.

I’d so love to have the ability to swap screens in the view port using keys. This is how lightwave and others are setup. it’s much faster to get stuff done for me that way.

I don’t recall if it’s there myself but perhaps you can go vote on that here.

(I agree on the usefulness, I was just being factual with where we are in Unity today)
