How to update project to new Unity

I just upgraded unity from 2018.2 to 2019.1 but the old projects are not working, how can I change that?

Please define “not working”, are you receiving an error? One note, make sure to back up your projects before upgrading. Another tip is to try “Reset Packages to Default” under the Help menu.

Using Unity Hub, just selected the version where I wanted to run it and Unity did everything after that.
