How to update unity

Now here is one silly question, but I can’t seem to find an answer.

I have mac, my current version is 4.6.0f2. I have tried Unity>Manage Licence>Check For Updates, but nothing happens. So, how do you do it?

By downloading the new installer. Unity does not have modular/diff updates, so for every update you need to redownload the complete installer.
