People have been using Dropbox for years to host their Unity3d Webplayer games for the purpose of gathering feedback, but free Dropbox accounts created after 10/4/12 don’t have public folders. Sometime after that enabling public folders became a paywalled feature. This makes sharing Unity Webplayer games difficult (impossible?) for people with new Dropbox accounts.
In any case, Google Drive can be used as an alternative, but since I couldn’t figure out how to do it without luckily stumbling upon this video,
I figured I would share the video so others wouldn’t have to waste as much time looking for an alternative. (I’m not affiliated with the video creator)
