I have never used LaTex, but I want to have a couple nicely-formatted mathematical statements in a Unify wiki entry. Can someone give me a simple example, with perhaps an exponent or logarithm with a specified base?
(I’m trying to cut and paste examples from all over, but I can’t get any formatting happening.

I looked at the wiki’s config file and it seems that TeX support is not enabled at present, so that’ll be why you can’t get it to work. It seems that the relevant extension needs to be compiled before it can be enabled, and I’m not sure how complicated that is (or if it’s even possible given the nature of the server setup).
If this is something you have a great need for, remind me at the weekend and I’ll see if I can figure it out. Alternatively, you could also generate the TeX images locally and just upload them to the wiki and link them on the page in the usual way.
Thanks for helping, and offering to help further. For my purposes, I don’t think it’s worth putting any more time into at the moment, but I’d love to see this be easier to do in the future.
