how would i animate weapons for untiy in 3ds max?? And is there any tutorials about that??:face_with_spiral_eyes:

Hi, welcome to the forum!

There may well be tutorials, but can you give any more detail about what you want to do? What sort of weapons and what sort of animation?

well im thinking of making AK-47 now i know how to animate stuff but I dont know how to put bones in weapons where to place them and how to save them. And do i need hands or full human body.

Pls help i really need to know this.

You put bones into weapons the same way you’d do with any other mesh. Wepons are static objects though so you don’t even need bones here. Just place the pivot of your weapon according to where you are going to make the weakon a child of your character.

Hand models … well … don’t know. I make those myself if I need to. Maybe Turbosquid? Jsut make sure that the polycount is useable for a game engine.

ok ill try that.

I think i figured it out when i animate it there are frames with numbers up to 100.when i import that model in unity and go to animations there are animations so i need to select one of the animation by doing something like this start1-end20 but i still dont know how to save them?
