How would I get find the tag of the parent of an object?

How would I access the tag of the parent of an object? I need to be able to see the tag of an object two levels up. Thanks!

@cmcmains Moving around the hierarchy is pretty easy:

string grandfatherTag;

if (this.transform.parent.parent)
    grandfatherTag = this.transform.parent.parent.tag;

ought to do it. If you want to make this into a function you call from a script:

string GetGrandfatherTag (Transform grandChild) {
    if (grandChild.parent.parent)
        return grandChild.parent.parent.tag;
    else
        return null; // or string.Empty() or "", up to your implementation;
}

Make it static or use an instance, either way it’ll work.
