How would I render the shadow of a culled object?

Hello I’m new to Unity and have created an FPS controller, I used the camera’s culling mask to take away the model of the player when playing the game but its shadows are not being rendered. Is there a way I can make the shadow render in while still having the model be invisible to the player?

A renderer has a Unity - Scripting API: Renderer.shadowCastingMode that can be set to only render shadows.
