How would you go about shaping terrain with scripting? (C#)

Hey,

I have a meteor skill in my game.

I want this to happen:

  • Cast Meteor
  • Meteor crashes into the ground
  • If it hits the terrain, cause a “crater”

Is this even possible, or would I have to make terrain in blender and “break out” different pieces of it?
