Hub beta 3.6.0 v1 Install/Launch issues

I can’t install correctly. Never had issue in past. I tried three times with clean install. The installer seems like it is too quick and when I launch it, I get the white screen, but the circle just spins forever.

yup same issue

This issue has been recognized as the update (i.e 3.6.0 not installing correctly), if the install time is fast then it’s not properly installing.

Uninstall and revert to previous version using:
https://web.archive.org/web/20230918204821/https://public-cdn.cloud.unity3d.com/hub/prod/UnityHubSetup.exe

i.e unity hub 3.5.2 (last stable version)

I updated to 3.6.0, unity hub stopped starting. I reinstalled and downloaded the default one from Unity download website and it also doesnt start…

Version 3.6.0 is broken. Windows 11 here.

Same as above, updated to 3.6.0 and was unable to start the hub. After several minutes I get a popup telling me UnityHub has failed.

The info-log.json file states it failed due to “ConnectionLost: Timeout! Cannot connect to Licensing Client within 60000ms”

Thank you, I Downloaded 3.5.2 and it works. I will wait to update to the latest version at this time.

Is there a way to prevent the hub from automatically upgrading? When you exit the hub, an automatic upgrade to 3.6.0 occurs and the bug is repeated.

I solved it using the method below.
(Required)Must be done before running the downgraded hub.
