Hub Bug

The hub is pretty neat, being able to download a new version of the editor without having to get the downloader first is cool but the hub gets confused about old versions and is having problem dealing with editors that were previously installed outside the editor folder. also from time to time downloading a new version hangs at 100% download.

Thank you for the feedback! We try to promote the latest versions of Unity first but we do our best to keep older versions usable through “Manual Selection”. Are you having any issues with located Unity installs?

Locate works, uninstall of a located version doesn’t.

Unfortunately, this feature is not supported. Our reasoning is basically that “Remove” is the opposite of “Locate” therefore it simply removes the editor from your list. On the other hand, if you install an editor from the hub you will be able to uninstall it from there too. The option will be “Uninstall” in the “Installs” tab.
We are considering handling this for located installs too but haven’t planned to implement it yet. I hope this answers your question.
