when I create a build, Windows x86_x64, Auto Graphics for Windows is On, Color Space Gamma (but I changed most of those, Problem always remains), it Looks like this:
I created a new material “Gui” with Shader “UI/Defalut” and set it on my Panels and Buttons.
It seems to help! But now the build Version is extremly slow (mayby 3 fps) and in the Editor it is much better (30 fps).
Are These known 5.6 issues? For me or at least my project it was much better before…
thanks for the reply. I got it working now setting the new gui material to every single gui element that can have a material. It didn’t have any materials before 5.6 I guess and that was no Problem before?
I am not sure if this is a bug, it is fine again now, also the performance got better now and is good again.
For some other 5.6 Problem, that I get Build Errors with some shaders (that worked before 5.6, from the “Golem Collection”), which I do not get in the Editor I already did a bug Report.
Yes, that’s the Problem. Thanks a lot!
Still having the issue, when creating a build sometimes unity closes the scene now, but that’s not a big problem.
I have two Projects, a game I am working on since two years, a hololens presentation that I started maybe a month ago.
I have seen it on both with 5.6 different patch Levels. I think it was when I had build Problems at a certain late Point, maybe it was the shaders that I could not compile anymore (I couldn’t help and removed those shaders that worked in earlier unity versions).
The Problem was with shaders of the Golem collection:
I can take a look if the problem with the closing Scene still happens if I put shaders from the package back in. I made a smaller package with the shader Problem and send it to the author of the Golem Collection but no answer yet and I made a bug Report with no answer yet.
I have also seen the Problem with the closing Scene on my hololens Project when I had some error I already fixed.
Just creating the build with a Problem at a certain Point, then the build Fails and you got an empty Scene and the current was closed… but for me this is a minor Problem.
