i am having a super weird rigidbody interaction.

this YouTube video exemplifies what my issue is

i can stop the odd bouncing if i add kinematic rigidbodys to the children however this stops the root parent from using child colliders in physics collisions so i really just need to figure out why this is happening.

no scripts are applied to the building nor the sphere in this example.
