I am hooked... :O)

Hi,

before you get dissapointed this is nothing special. Just a simple scene i threw together for bug reporting. But i kept it for doing texturework and so stumbeld over the glass shader to which i’m totally hooked…and for the third time kudos to otee! :O)

And it burns burns burns…

Wow, I’m still new to Unity and 3D, so this all seems like magic to me.

Were these done with the basic shaders available indie? It’s nice to see some eyecandy.

thanks.

lookin not so hot over here but thats cause my comp sucks

It looks pretty good on my system. Click image for full 1920x1200. might be small loss of quality from jpg compression. (500K jpg vs 3.5MB png)

Yoggy,

What graphics card are you using?

Tom

Where did you stumble across a glass shader!? (hope you didn’t hurt your self) :wink:

That glass shader doesnt work on my 9200 it falls back to bumpspec…

Hi,

@redlamp:
No it’s pro only…but i’m wondering how much work it would be to generally migrate shaders from the ati/nvidia-shadertools to unity. How much work would this be adapting them…is this very individually or more a constant time factor after you got used to it.

@yoggy
I also can’t see it on my miniMac but i do see it on my pc…

@sync1b
Well, as my miniMac can’t use such shaders i haven’t looked at them a lot, till… ;O)

its dog slow on a Geforce 5200 (obviously) but I was amazed to see that the GFX card shows them shaders at all!

Hi,

wasn’t the 5200 only once built by nVIDIA for the reason to say: Hey we’ve got a cheap SM2 card? I remember it so…

By the way i liked the graphics of your blitzgame. Nice baked lights.

Woo thats pretty neat. Especially with the light and the bouncing boxes. Took some screendumps at http://dropbox.angryant.com/computers/bamboo
