I am really confused, are there no sample animations available from Unity?

So I’ve started reading the animation tutorial pages found here:

Great stuff!
However where can I get some sample asset, free animations or avatars from Unity to play with? It’s like I have this great guide but I can’t test anything for myself?

Do Unity host any free animation assets? I know we had the robot kyle demo years ago but it feels so strange that I can’t learn triggering animations with Unity without buying something or creating animations myself?
