I cannot get unity 4.63 to load

I have downloaded Unity for the first time and it keeps getting stuck when loading a project.
No matter how long I wait it is stuck here.

I have attached a screenshot:

my computer specs
intel core i7 4500U 1.8ghz
Windows 8.1
64 bit operating system

I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it
Please help

I have updated the .net framework and all other windows update. It will not load past UnityEngine.UI.dll

Nevermind, I am just going to uninstall and try Unity5

same thing happened with unity 5…

Try System Restoring your computer.
Or you could check out your Control Panel for any malicious malware.

Seems like the DLL importer is stuck. Can you post your Editor.log? (found in AppData/Local/Unity/Editor/Editor.log in your home directory).

I ended up refreshing windows and that fixed the issue. The only glitches now are that I have to run it as an Administrator to play a scene and that I can’t drag and drop directly into the Unity Editor from Windows Explorer, however, I can just drag and drop from the Windows Explorer to the folder assets in whichever project I’m working on.
