i Cannot open the Unity 3d("The application failed to initialize properly")

hi guys.
i am a licensed user of unity, recently i cannot open the unity3d in my PC.
if i click the unity3d icon to open it say
“The application failed to initialize properly (0Xc0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application”

i have tried to reinstall my OS (Windows XP). but still it is not working.
can any one please help me on this matter.

does your machine have enough power, a current DX installation and a reasonable graphics card? U3 is more demanding than U2 and some of the lower end gpus and onboard laughs that worked back then no longer work
