I can't connect to Asset Server anymore.

Hello everyone,

I have some problems on Asset Server issue.
We work on Unity for a couple months and it has been working just fine with Asset Server. But a couple days ago, we cannot connect to the Asset Server anymore even when we use the machine running the Asset Server trying to connect.

I notice that I also put Unity for Wii on the same machine running Asset Server. Could that be the cause of the problem?

Had this once too and did not find any reason for that. No firewall changes, no IP changes, nothin. Even connecting via BonJour did not work anymore. What I did then was just to re-install the asset server freshly and that just worked - without loosing the repositories! :slight_smile:

I will try your method. To do so, do I need to uninstall the existing asset server before I reinstall it, or I can just download the asset server and install it right away? And do I need to do the same to client machines?

No, I did not uninstall the old one first, just took the fresh installer and re-installed it over the old one. And no, for the clients you don’t need to change anything. Hope it works for you! :slight_smile:
