I can't create a normal tree

Hello there! I’ve tried looking everywhere for an answer to my question, but I’m still not sure what the problem is.
I’ve created a tree model in Blender, which is an object with a trunk with branches and its daughter leaves. I exported the tree in FBX format and imported it into Unity. Then, I applied the Nature/Tree Soft Occlusion Bark material to the trunk and the Nature/Tree Soft Occlusion Leaves material to the leaves. Next, I created a prefab from this tree and transferred it to PaintTrees. However, when I started painting, the trees were without leaves.
I assumed that the problem might be related to the fact that the trunk was the parent of the leaves, so I tried connecting both models together and repeating all the necessary steps. But, to my disappointment, only one tree appeared in space at a distance after I created the prefab and started painting. This has been a frustrating problem for me for a while, and I’d really appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you!

If I recall, you can’t just paint a regular fbx with the tree painter. It needs to be a “Speed Tree” asset. There are instructions on this page:
