I’ve tried, and tried, and tried. I can’t download Unity Engine from the official link, nor the direct download.
I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser, and I use Windows XP, Service Pack 3. Why should there be a problem?
Also, When I downloaded from the direct download, it did succesfully, but when it tried to save the installation file, it said “Couldn’t read file. Saving aborted” and it really annoys me.
It was the FREE version of Unity I tried to download, since I’m just testing computer stuff
Its a website as such TCP 80 normally unless akamai is used there invisibly. but even that should use an available standard port (or your firewall should bring up a dialog if set to learning), not just not work.
perhaps your browser security blocks a script or something, no idea, never had the problem on any browser actually
