I can't edit/save my signature!

When I go to my profile (Chrome or Firefox) I cannot focus the signature text field. It’s completely non-interactive:

I wonder if I may have broken it with my existing signature? I can’t recall exactly what I did but I got it to use a headline and superscript via a mixture of html and markdown.

A couple days ago I made changes to the signature (probably on iPad) but the changes didn’t stick, so I gave up thinking I’ll have to make that update on desktop instead. But even on iPad (Safari) the signature field is now just a non-interactive rectangle.

They did an update recently and it must’ve broken something. I also can’t edit the signature.

Thanks for flagging, @CodeSmile. We’ll look into this issue and some other oddities that have cropped up since the latest update. The investigation is scheduled for next week due to team holidays.

Confirmed, I can edit the signature text!

Well, I can edit and save the signature. But it has no effect. :thinking:

On the forum my signature remains the same in three different browsers. I cleared all cached data in one of them, still old signature.

If I reload my profile page, the old signature is back and all changes are lost.

Noticed the same just now. I edited my signature yesterday but just noticed it had no effect and the changes were actually reverted.

This is my signature at the moment:

(Edit: refreshing the page and the “Test” text is gone, the old signature is back)

But the old signature still appears:

Caching issue?

Apologies for the continued dysfunction. In that case my earlier message still stands and we will have to dig deeper into it next week.

I changed my Signature at the start of August, sometime ago noticed that it haven’t changed. Currently experiencing the same issue.

Also have been unable to change signature. I get the “Saved!” message pop up but nothing actually changes

Reminder: The week has passed and I still can’t save signatures. :wink:

Hoping for next week … my signature really needs an update.

Had the edit, save, reload = reset to old, one. On 5 Aug.
