I cant image how is map layout made in games like “layers of fear”. I’m 15 years old beginner starting game development. I mean for example there is “terrain” (in unity) and the whole game is built on the top of it. and in the game the rooms and the whole structure is changing in every second and I can\t understand how the whole thing is working. sorry for english.
Not sure how it looks in that game, but each room could be a prefab (whole single room ready to use),
and then just swap them…?
