Now, I’m mainly just looking for what is required and how it is downloaded onto disks, but I installed the hub and everything else onto a usb stick, and It still says that I have 90 something gigabytes, but when it is installing it immediatly says that there isn’t enough storage to install and download the editor application and Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2019.
Visual Studio wants to be installed to the C drive. If you install it through the Hub it will only try to install to that drive. If you download it from the official website you can ask that it install to a different drive but it will always install part of itself on the C drive.
As mentioned in the blog entry below (yes, it’s an old blog entry, but it’s still true to the latest releases) this insistency to install on the C drive is due to its dependencies having to be on that drive to work properly.
