i cant seem to get clamp to work

i have no idea cause im dumb it just rises on y and out of pos forever

    Vector3 clampedradar = radar2.position;
    clampedradar.y = Mathf.Clamp(radar2.position.y, 51, 51);
    clampedradar.z = Mathf.Clamp(radar2.position.z, radarpanel.position.z, radarpanel.position.z);
    radar2.position = clampedradar;

    radar2.transform.position = new Vector3(radarpanel.position.x, clampedradar.y, radarpanel.position.z);
