I did it! Thank you Unity Community!

I did it! I made my first game!

Best feeling ever.

it’s pretty bad, but the first always is (according to everyone).
I hope the Unity community will forgive me for putting this obnoxious post up, but I just wanted to thank all you guys for your kind, inspiring, and down-to-earth words (like in the sticky post at the top of this forum). If it wasn’t for all of you I’d still be working on my “epic massive totally unique mmo” project

Congratulations!

Well done! There are no negative words to say on releasing your first game; many don’t make it that far!

As for your game? I’ll check it out and PM you some feedback, sometime.

thanks guys!

I feel slightly less awkward about leaving lurk mode to brag about myself.

I hope I can be as cool as a Space Marine Cat one day.

I played it four times and never found the damn demon

Seriously though, congratulations! Even if it is a small short game, you finished it and that’s just a stepping stone to the next one.

heh, it was probably the one in the windmill’s shadow :stuck_out_tongue: .
thanks!

Now you’re free to work on your dream MMO

great idea!
But first I gotta finish my Open World Dynamic Adventure game

Ah…I can’t wait for me to make a post like this.

You have done pretty well for your first game.
Best of all, you kept it simple.

Well done!

Very cool idea actually!
Great first game and i don’t think it sucks at all, might be short, but its not bad : )

Congrats!

I liked it, too. Nice idea, really. For the very first thing it’s a really good start. Keep up the spirit.

Nice game. Got myself killed for murder though.

I like this game’s concept. Can you remake it?

Thanks all you guys!

heh, I know that feeling

dxcam, I’m flattered you think it’s good enough for a remake; I’ll see what I can do.

haha! Well put

Congratulations, may you have many more.

Congratulation!
It’s nice for a first release.
I’ve caught the demon at my third attempt.

thanks!

Well done! I like the game, took me about 4 or 5 attempts to kill the demon. ^^ I think you might have done the same mistake I made with my first game as well. Which was not paying enough attention to UI/interface design. The buttons at the start and end of the game looked pretty out of place to me and I’d change the font of the text to something more fantasy/demonish as well. Either way short&sweet games are always good to have, I’ll send the link around a bit.

Grats on your first release! Finishing and deploying for the world to see is a huge accomplishment. Savor this moment of victory and reflect often on how you got further than most! And then, get started on your next :).

(PS - Like the simplicity and my only suggested improvements is that the ‘Begin’ and ‘Main Menu’ buttons are in exactly the same place. So, the first time I found the demon, I clicked too fast and went right past the message)
