I have a 10.5.8 Mac OS X and my Unity wont work. Why?

My Mac OS X 10.5.8 has Unity but it wont work, why is this??? I need to know!!

WE ALSO NEED TO KNOW what you are talking about, is an error being thrown, is it able to install, do you want to actually explain what is happening, what are you expectations, what version are you installing, etc etc etc etc. also not knowing the version you are trying to install, 4.3 requires "Mac OS X "Snow Leopard" 10.6 or later".

Unlike Snow Leopard, Mavericks is free, but (at version 10.9.0) it is not stable enough yet if you have an older Mac. Back up everything before you upgrade.

Because Unity 4.3 requires 10.6, as stated here: http://unity3d.com/unity/system-requirements

Might be worth mentioning that even Unity-generated content seems to require 10.6 as well, even though that page currently says 10.5.8.

You need version 10.6 or above.
