I have a ship floating on a empty object...

…with a box collider so as to appear to be floating. All is well. I added a missile launcher pinching code from fps tutorial (thx for that) and it all makes sense, but the canonballs fall on the invisible box and sit there ruining my illusion of flight! I used the Physics.IgnoreCollision for the actual ship but when I try and add another Physics.IgnoreCollision for the box (labeled invisible1 in the Project view) it does not recognize it. The code;

The Physics.IgnoreCollider help section in the manual is not super clear on this. It just says;

Physics.IgnoreCollision( collider1.collider, collider2.collider );

Can it be attached to the existing script or does a new script have to be created for each object that needs ignoring? I tried this and the new script did not recognize instantiatedProjectile. I know with Flash you can set up a script right away that declares variables and whatnot. Is that the case here?

Thx,

Cal

Wow thats messed up but u can use this ship as an airship which would be awsome
