i have my project in unity3d 5.2.1 how can i open it in 5.4 is it possible to open it

i have made my project in unity 5.2.1 but my system got stuck so i have to re install window due to this i have to re insatall unity but here i got latest version i cannot open my project its not working properly

As far as I know Unity will compile your project automatically if you try to open it in the latest version. Can you be more specific about the error you’re getting?
