Hello guys, i’m new in Unity and i have a game project on paper but unfortunately i don’t know how to use Unity. I checked out some tutorials, they are easy to follow but also the game they are guiding you through is so easy and simple too. I have lots of ideas to add as a feature in my project but as i said, i need an experienced volunteer teacher to guide me through my journey.
You can try the Connect portion of Unity for paid/unpaid work.
However, I believe you could reconsider the “simplicity” of the early tutorials and such that unity offers. Yes, they are simple, but that is because they are meant to build a user’s knowledge as they progress. You learn the basics, and work from there. The common stuff is used throughout everything you (or anyone) does
I’m with methos. Learn Learn and you don’t need a guide. Look for skype/discord/connect/IRC if you need mentoring (forums are more for answering specific questions).
Try Udemy. You get an instructor who will answer your questions and some great video tutorials. Cost is not high and worth it. Every hobby requires a bit of investment if you want to do well.
