Do you mean scripting language? If so, it really shouldn’t matter much, just go with what you’re comfortable with. C# is a more developed language IMO though, and it seems like most of the learning material is C# focused.

So, for the record, both Javascript and c# have strengths and weaknesses. One is not better than the other, they are just different.
except that c# is better. 
I thought I read that javascript is not supported on windows phones… cant be bothered confirming
