I need help with Gravity scripting.

Hello,i need help.
I was watching tutorial and coding.
Code (CSharp):

  • using System.Collections;
  • using System.Collections.Generic;
  • using UnityEngine;
    • public class PlayerMovement : MonoBehaviour
  • {
    • public CharacterController controller;
    • public float speed = 12f;
  • public float gravity = -9.81f;
  • public float jumpHeight = 3f;
    • public Transform groundCheck;
  • public float groundDistance = 0.4f;
  • public LayerMask groundMask;
    • Vector3 velocity;
  • bool isGrounded;
    • // Update is called once per frame
  • void Update()
  • {
  • isGrounded = Physics.CheckSphere(groundCheck.position, groundDistance, groundMask);
    • if(isGrounded && velocity.y < 0)
  • {
  • velocity.y = -2f;
  • }
    • float x = Input.GetAxis (“Horizontal”);
  • float z = Input.GetAxis (“Vertical”);
    • Vector3 move = transform.right * x + transform.forward * z;
    • controller.Move(move * speed * Time.deltaTime);
    • if(Input.GetButtonDown (“Jump”) && isGrounded);
  • {
  • velocity.y = Mathf.Sqrt(jumpHeight * -2f * gravity);
  • }
    • velocity.y += gravity * Time.deltaTime;
    • controller.Move(velocity * Time.deltaTime);
  • }
  • }

On part where i coded “Gravity” i set it to -9.81(like in the tutorial) and when i tested it my character was going up instead of down,and if i set gravity without - nothing is happening if i go up on ramp i placed and walk off i would float in the same height as i was on ramp.

I fixed it i just need to remove “;” from if(Input.GetButtonDown (“Jump”) && isGrounded);
