I need to make a player sheild. How do i create it?

so i tried to create a sheild but there are NO tutorials about what im looking for. Im making a IceSkater game and i have a enemy cube but once i get the bullets shooting i need my player a sheild to bounce them back to kill the enemy. please tell me!!!
