Drag the scene tab with your mouse and put it next to the game tab.

It’s a lost cause. You need to reinstall Unity

(jokes aside - press “Layout” then select “Default” at the top right corner)

That window is all over the place like it’s nobody’s business, floating around as if the editor means absolutely nothing, making a mockery of the Default Layout … such corruption as I’ve never seen …

Unity should copy how Visual studio docking works. So much better docker mechanics.

I get crashes from VS docking functionality, when accidentally undocking and redocking in 1 mouse movement (VS 2017). So don’t copy that mechanic :stuck_out_tongue:

Interesting have never happened to me  I’m on 2019 but didn’t happen in 2017 either

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidentally undocked the bottom tab in VS due to my mouse being a pixel off and hitting the “move” region instead of the “resize” region…now that’s frustrating. Whatever happens, don’t let that become the default.

I’ve had this problem before. They need to delete their System32 folder
