I uninstalled Visual Studio 2019 by accident and now I can’t open my scripts in the Unity Editor. I have Visual Studio 2022 installed but I don’t know how to get my editor to use it. What should I do? Can I re-install 2019; It doesn’t seem to be available anywhere. Can I get my editor to use 2022; how can I do that? I don’t know where else to look for help. I would appreciate advice, thank you.
Assuming you have the Visual Studio editor package for Unity installed, you should be able to set Unity to open scripts with a specific IDE under Edit > Preferences > External Tools > External Script Editor.
