IAP on Vision OS?

Does In App Purchase work on VisionOS? Can this be tested on simulator?

According to another thread, IAP purchases are currently unsupported and will not be prior to launch 2/2. However, I can confirm that you can get them to work by creating a native plugin.

Would you mind sharing the IAP plugin, for the community’s sake?

Unity IAP not working on a major platform is kind of a showstopper

Thanks for the suggestion @oliran – glad to here you were able to use this workaround even if it’s not the most convenient option.

@ina, @yosun – Since this sounds like an important feature for you both, I encourage you to cast votes in support of adding IAP support on our public roadmap under “General Features.”

This is a show-stopper for us as well.
Anyone knows if there’s a 3rd party solution that works well?

Hey there, just wanted to share that we’re aware of the demand for IAP support, and we’ve already flagged it to our internal teams. There’s still quite a bit of work we need to do, and we’ll be sure to share updates once all of it is right and ready.

If you have more feedback to share about IAP support, please don’t hesitate to share them on our roadmap. Thank you for your patience.

RevenueCat sent out an email that they now support VisionOS, but I have not tried this for myself to know for sure. We are deep into coding our own custom plugin (sorry, can’t share it as it is very tied to how we do IAP in our app - at least for now), but really hoping Unity has an IAP solution for us in the next couple months.

any update… this is actually delaying the shipment of all of my non-client / consumer apps.

I’m dying for this too!

Hey guys, any update ?

This is a show-stopper for us too.

We should vote IAP support visionOS. So that Unity will change the priority.

For anyone waiting for this, I’d recommend having a look at RevenueCat. It seems like it works and you’ll not be dependent on unknown time estimates.

RevenueCat takes an additional percentage off which doesn’t make sense for us - we already have our own internal analytics tools.

Makes sense. For smaller Indies might work though, since they only start charging (1%) after $2.5K/month of revenue.

@IsaacsUnity Hi, I found the “Support for Unity IAP” state changed.

Can you share some info which version support visionOS? I checked 4.11.0, there is no visionOS support.

Hey! 4.11.0 is the right version. The team has been notified to update the documentation, but the steps to set up IAP remain the same.

Thank you, i’ve test it, and it works in device, but doesn’t work in simulator
