Idea for first Project for a newbie?

What’s a good idea for a first first project for a newbie in Unity? I know very basic concepts in Unity like UI and SOME like very minimal scripts, but what’s a good first project, or first thing to learn in Unity? Maybe someone can help me and walk me through it? I like tutorials, but you are in turn copying someone else and usually people don’t learn and I wanna learn not copy so please give me some ideas, like a nice roadmap, like begin here, and when you get that go here please because there’s so much to learn and it’s easy to get lost. Thank you!

Tutorials are a great way to learn. Besides Unity’s tutorial you might consider:

Many master painters, before finding their own style, copied the works of the greats before them.

That’s up to you. You could copy the code without understanding it, or you could try playing with it. What if you changed this parameter, or that parameter? What other options are there (per the reference manual)?

But I know what you mean. I like to learn by doing, too. Check these out:

A few simple challenges that involve a bit of work to pull off correctly. If you hit snags, there are videos that provide hints, but he never directly tells you how to do the challenges.
