Hey, I know a lot of people want to make a zombie Fps game. Well Im one of those people. But I would like to make an Fps zombie survival game,but I would like to make one that is unique.I was hoping that if someone has any ideas of a unique zombie survival, please post your ideas.

I like the idea of YOU being the zombie. You have to go into an urban city, spreading the infection, and try to keep your limbs from being blown off by avoiding, and even attacking, the police, or the army or whatever.

This never works. Games where you play as zombie are boring. Its just that simple.
There is a game already made where you play as the zombie and back when it came out it was fairly enjoyable and humorous. I actually wanted to make a zombie game at one point in which you would play as the zombie inspired by this game and due to the fact of there being tons of zombie survival games and not many of you playing as the zombie

The reason I never got around to making a game similar is due to not have friends that wanted to get in on it too lol I eould love to see someone produce it though as I would play it for sure Stubbs was amazing when it first came out lol

Yeah. Make a fantasy game. No wait, thatās been done to death. How about a WW2 shooter or sim? Has that ever been done. Let me think. Yep. How about some sci-fi shooter? I bet no one has ever done that before. No, Iām wrong. Oh, I know, I bet no one has ever made a game where you get to be a crime lord. Whatās that? Been done? I bet a civil war game has never ever been made. There have? French Revolution? Done as well you say? How about a hunting or fishing game? What do you mean thatās been done too? How about a game where a giant gorilla throws flaming shit at you? Are you telling me someone made a game where a gorilla throws flaming shit at you? Wow. Oh I know, how about a game thatās just like life only itās not. Itās a game. No one would ever make a game like that. Wait, thatās been done as well?
Point is, youāre not going to come up with an original idea. Itās in the details that originality shines.
Aliens vs. Predator had a mode where 1 person spawned as an alien and 7 as marines, and if he killed a marine they would respawn as an alien. The marines would win if there were still any marines after a time limit. It was a really great gametype in an otherwise mediocre game. Would probably work pretty well with zombies.
There is of course the Left 4 Dead series too, which is quite fun IMO, but doesnāt have that infection element.
Thats like telling hollywood not to make conan the barbarian, or a new batman film. Itās not realistic is it?
Iām proud to report that the Call of Duty series is no longer being developed thanks to this thread.

Iām playing Dead Island on the PC right now and as almost everyone knows by now, they actually shipped the developer version of the game that contains stuff like No Clip, item/zombie respawn, and even a 3rd person view mode. Then I saw this thread again and thought āHey, maybe this is a unique idea by the guys who made the game, they actually just sent out the dev build for everyone to mess with as nobody else seems to have done it before!ā lol!
