I imported the Unity vehicles → car, and put it on a track. However, the When the car hits the wall with at maybe a 10 degree angle, it slams to a stop as if it hit a wall. (bouncing off a bit)
Any recommendations on how to get it to deal with say a 45 degree angle, to still bounce/redirect the car, keep moving forward, instead of being stopped?
Having a way to just set the max-angle of forward correctiveness would be best, but anything to help me get there is useful.
- Thanks!
As an example, I added another collider at the front, angled, but it didn’t help as much as I would have hoped. Below is a video example. The bottom/right car is the Unity default. The top/left car is the one with the modified colliders (2 extra angled at the front bumper)
