If I buy the $1200 Android license, is that also good for Kindle Fire?

See title. Yes I forgot, it’s $1500.

Yes it works on kindle fire as far as I know. Is the -20% offer still doing the rounds?

“All signs point to no.”

Will Unity offer the discount again soon, say within the next 6 months?

“Yes – definitely”

Suggestion: Wait for GDC at beginning of March and see what happens.

Yes,. the license does work for the Fire (it’s just running a version of Android): I haven’t had any problems getting my games to run on the Fire (using the basic Android license).

Just keep in mind that there is no $1500 license unless you own Unity Pro.
Without Unity Pro there is a $400 license (Android non-pro) or a $3000 license (pro + Android Pro) as the Pro addons require ownership of Pro to be bought.

Somewhat related question…is there an “upgrade” option to Android Pro?

Like, if I buy Android Basic now, do I get $400 off Android Pro later if I decide to upgrade?

If my memory serves me correctly… YES!

Thats certainly a lot of money if your just a someone who wants to see his games on a phone or tablet… o.0

Yes. If you now have Unity Free and get Unity Android Basic, you pay $400. If you later decide to upgrade to Android Pro you pay $2600 ($1500 for Unity Pro, $1500 for Unity Android Pro and -$400 you already paid for Android Basic)
